My name is Sarah and I live in Perth, Scotland. I have been teaching English as a foreign language since 2009 when I gained my CELTA. A long and varied career has taken me to many places — China, Tanzania, Belgium, the UK, Poland, Spain and Italy. I have taught online since 2016 after I returned from my travels. I also work as a translator of Spanish, French and Italian into English. In my spare time I travel around the world and develop my foreign languages.
I have taught a variety of different levels (from A1 to C2), across a range of different areas. I have delivered one-to-one classes, business English, general English and academic Cambridge exam classes for 10 years. I enjoy the challenge of helping you acquire the English you need to achieve your goals.
I enjoy building a rapport with students in order to help them be the best that they can be. I think that you should chose me as a teacher because I am extremely passionate about the English language and its grammar. I am also patient and very supportive of those who are shy about speaking! I love using technology in the classroom as well as language apps. I incorporate lots of different techniques into my lesson to build your fluency.
